The American Audio Company is a unique Audio Store specialising in amazing North American Audio products and is the eCommerce division of a successful Custom Install Company. With relationships with the vast majority of importers and manufacturers, we are in an amazing position to offer some truly stunning products. If we are missing a brand / product or there is something specific you would like but cannot find, let us know and we will see what we can do.

In early 2022 we realised that there were still a large number of North American products and brands that were not on offer or represented here in the UK, so we created AmericanAudioTrade to help bring these products to the UK and promote them to both the Retail and Trade sectors of our industry.

Run by two industry friends and stalwarts, between us we have almost 60 Year experience in the Retail Electronics industry, working for retailers, distributors, installers and manufacturers at some point in our lives, but never with each other, until now. Its a blast.

Chris White, MD / Sales Director : Having run his own Custom Installation / AV company since 2010, Chris continues to add to his 30+ years of knowledge in the consumer AV industry. He has a wealth of experience, designing, specifying and building private home cinemas, smart home and building management systems for many high profile projects and clients. In the early 2000's he design Budapest's Cable TV network (very advanced fibre optics) and in 2014, Chris installed the first JBL Synthesis, Dolby Atmos cinema system in Europe for a client he has worked with for over 10 years.

Mark Cheffins, Technical & Media Partner : With over 30 years Industry experience, having most recently spent the13 years with Onkyo Europe as Technical Specialist & Customer Services Manager. Mark was responsible for all of the video production of Onkyo's Youtube channel with training & product videos, Senior Tech Support and product training. He was also responsible for development of Onkyo's 'Ed Phones' which was a first in the industry for having direct interaction with the artist, this allowed Onkyo to create a product that was not only endorsed by the artists, it was tuned by the artists. Mark is THX Certified for Video and Sound and a member of IPS (Institue of Professional Sound).
